Rich Data Services

Build complete applications with an API that provides more than just data. Rich Data Services allows you to publish your data and metadata through a unified API, providing immediate access to users and applications, and enabling the the rapid implementation of data product catalogs, mining tools, tabulation engines, dashboards, visualizations, web, mobile, or statistical applications.

With metadata and data together developers have access to everything they need to build a finished product. Whether it is having access to a classification to help populate graphs with meaningful values, descriptions and labels to describe what the data is about, or provenance to cite where the data comes from, metadata is essential to power a comprehensive application.
